Job Summary
Managing property tax compliance and reporting, the full-time Massachusetts Property Tax Accountant will ensure timely filings, support audits, and identify tax savings opportunities while working in a hybrid environment based out of Framingham, MA.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file personal and real property tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Analyze property tax assessments and coordinate appeals, tracking statuses for accurate financial reporting
- Calculate property tax accruals and assist with budgeting and forecasting for current and future business opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property tax compliance or related area
- Strong understanding of multi-state property tax rules and assessment processes
- Experience with fixed asset systems and property tax software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and advanced Excel skills
