Master Physician Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking highly accomplished physicians, the part-time Master Physician Advisor will provide strategic, high-level advising to pre-medical and medical students throughout the medical school and residency application processes, dedicating 20+ hours per week to mentoring and supporting future physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to pre-medical students applying to medical school and medical students applying to residency
• Conduct comprehensive one-on-one advising sessions focused on application strategy, career planning, and professional development
• Participate in webinars and educational content creation while serving as a subject matter expert for the advising program

Required qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Successful completion of an accredited U.S. residency training program
• Significant experience on a medical school admissions committee and/or residency selection committee
• Minimum of two years of advising, mentoring, or teaching experience
• Deep understanding of the AMCAS application process and knowledge of ERAS and NRMP Match processes
