Material Handler
Job Summary
Working full-time onsite, the Material Handler 2 will perform a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules, ensuring proper material flow and delivery within and outside the company.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the routing and delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Maintain records on material flow and monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments
- Expedite parts to resolve material shortages as needed
Required qualifications
- Substantial knowledge of material handling principles and practices
- Experience working under general supervision on diverse assignments
- Ability to follow established procedures and use judgment in problem-solving
- Participation in project teams or leading portions of projects is preferred
- Working knowledge of related fields is a plus
