Material Planner

Job Summary

To support production planning, the full-time contract Material Planner will manage the ordering of raw materials and packaging in a 100% remote environment, ensuring adherence to production schedules and coordinating logistics with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align long-term raw material supply plans with regional planners and production schedulers
• Coordinate raw materials and packaging availability while managing logistics topics with production and third-party providers
• Create purchase requisitions and monitor the adherence of raw materials to the production plan, acting as a troubleshooter for related issues

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory control operations, and SAP (APO and R/3) skills
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs and data analytics
• Familiarity with import planning and local suppliers
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
