Material Planner Scheduler
Job Summary
Overseeing the material planning process in a hybrid role, the full-time Material Planner Scheduler III will ensure material availability for production, optimize inventory levels, and drive strategic improvements while collaborating with Procurement, Production, and Program Management teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage advanced material requirements plans (MRP) to support production schedules
- Analyze demand forecasts and inventory trends to ensure material availability and cost efficiency
- Lead cross-functional teams to address material planning challenges and implement effective solutions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry
- Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Deltek CostPoint, SAP, or Oracle
- Advanced understanding of material planning processes and inventory management principles
- US Citizenship is required
