Material Qualification Lead

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Material Qualification Lead will manage material qualification projects, oversee end-of-life transitions, and serve as the primary quality liaison between internal supply chain personnel and external suppliers in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate material qualification projects for PCB raw materials, ensuring compliance with specifications
• Monitor and manage End-of-Life (EOL) notifications and develop mitigation strategies for components and materials
• Conduct supplier quality reviews and audits, collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
• 8 or more years of experience in materials and specifications within the PCB or related manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of PCB materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-600, IPC-6012)
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines; PMP certification is a plus
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and quality management systems is a plus
