Material Quote Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Material Quote Specialist to develop accurate and competitive material quotes for aerospace and defense bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and quote materials using customer-provided data inputs, including Bills of Materials and specifications
• Review customer drawings and organize data packages for Requests for Proposals
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure pricing and delivery lead times, ensuring quote accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or electronics component distribution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in reading and understanding Bills of Materials and technical drawings
• Familiarity with quoting software is a plus
