Job Summary

A company is looking for a Materials Engineer to develop material property correlations and advanced material performance models for sodium-cooled fast reactors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile datasets from literature on physical and mechanical properties and complex mechanical phenomena
  • Develop material property correlations and advanced performance models for reactor systems
  • Plan and oversee test programs, perform data analysis, and generate technical reports
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Solid understanding of metallurgy, including fabrication and thermomechanical processing of alloys
  • General understanding of nuclear reactor design and material impacts is a plus
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex problems
  • High degree of trust, integrity, and teamwork orientation
