Materials Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Materials Planner responsible for managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an efficient MRP process and monitor raw and packaging material inventory
• Prepare monthly purchasing forecasts and evaluate supply plans to mitigate costs and waste
• Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve material shortages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business discipline or equivalent experience
• APICS Certification desired
• 2+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain planning
• Proficiency in manufacturing MRP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
