Materials Planner

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Materials Planner 4 will manage the release of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), coordinate material planning across multiple business units, and ensure alignment with production schedules while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the release of ECOs to minimize impact on cutover and manage material financial accountability
• Ensure MRP stability and manage weekly MRP churns and cleanup while auditing Material Master settings
• Act as the single point of contact for the business unit, representing the planning function in cross-functional meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment
• 4-year degree preferred in Business Management, Logistics, or Engineering
• Experience with MRP and SAP software
• Strong negotiation and forecasting/analytics skills
• Understanding of Change Control processes
