Job Summary
Collaborating with the education project team, the full-time Materials Review Specialist will support K-12 Education practices by managing reviewer submissions, evaluating materials for standards alignment and quality, and assisting with reviewer recruitment and training in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support Review Leads in executing standards alignment and quality reviews, including managing reviewer progress and providing feedback
- Review publisher submissions for accuracy and compliance, and develop standards alignment breakouts
- Manage communications and support recruitment and training efforts for reviewers, including leading virtual and in-person sessions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional materials review, curriculum evaluation, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of instructional coaching experience, including mentoring or supporting professional learning for adults
- Familiarity with state academic standards and K-12 curriculum strongly preferred
- Experience reviewing applications or leading trainings preferred
