Materials Specialist

Job Summary

Collaborating with design and architecture teams, the full-time Materials Specialist will specify finishes and furnishings, maintain a material resource library, and oversee the production of deliverables in the Dayton, OH area.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and architecture teams to develop FF&E specifications
• Research current trends and provide inspirational resources to enhance creativity
• Coordinate with A&D representatives on product updates and project requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of current trends in retail and commercial environments
• Enthusiasm for solving design challenges and mentoring junior designers
