Maternal Mortality Epidemiologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Maternal Mortality Epidemiologist II to provide epidemiology expertise and support for federal surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributes to maternal mortality data analyses to enhance surveillance and program data for addressing pregnancy-related deaths
• Drafts dissemination products such as manuscripts, reports, and presentations based on data analyses
• Participates in project-related meetings and calls, while performing other related duties as required

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• At least 2 years of related professional experience in data analysis
• Master's degree with a concentration in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related discipline
• Intermediate proficiency in data management and analysis using SAS or R
• Ability to pass required Federal background screening and maintain government clearance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
