Math Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced, mission-driven educators, the part-time contract Math Instructor will deliver high-impact online courses in Quantitative Reasoning, College Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics, fostering an inclusive and engaging virtual learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 11-week live, synchronous online courses using student-centered instructional strategies
• Foster an inclusive environment that promotes active learning and real-world connections
• Provide timely feedback and support, including hosting weekly office hours for student engagement

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field
• At least 3 years of college-level mathematics teaching experience
• Strong content knowledge across quantitative reasoning, algebra, and introductory statistics
• Experience in making abstract mathematical concepts concrete through real-world applications
• Commitment to equity and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
