Math Tutor
Job Summary
To enhance their tutoring offerings, currently active BookNook tutors in good standing will have the opportunity to apply for a remote contract position as a Math Tutor, focusing on providing consistent weekly sessions to students across the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly tutoring sessions with students, utilizing provided lesson content
- Demonstrate expertise in the Math subject through a one-way video demonstration upon request
- Collaborate with a supportive community of tutors to meet the needs of school districts
Required qualifications:
- Active BookNook tutor status in good standing
- Availability for at least one hour on Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET
- Experience in tutoring or teaching Math subjects
- Ability to adapt to varying tutoring opportunities and schedules
- Comfort with using virtual classroom tools for remote tutoring
