Mathematics Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

Providing instruction in an online classroom, the part-time Mathematics Adjunct Faculty will support students earning their Associate Degree in Firearms Technology by integrating real-world experiences into course material and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain teaching assignments and provide academic interaction in an asynchronous online classroom environment
• Grade student work and provide timely, constructive feedback to assist in academic success
• Foster student engagement and collaboration while maintaining effective record keeping

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related area of study; or a Master's degree in any area with 18 graduate-level credits in Mathematics or Engineering
• Three or more years of experience teaching college-level courses in an online classroom environment
