Job Summary
Leading the development of subject-specific rubrics and evidence guides for mathematics and science, the full-time Rubric Development Lead will manage the entire lifecycle of rubric creation, facilitate training sessions with subject matter experts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and refinement of grade-level rubrics and evidence guides, ensuring alignment with content standards and research-based strategies
- Facilitate training sessions and collaborative drafting with subject matter experts, guiding mock reviews to inform rubric revisions
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, serving as the primary point of accountability for high-quality rubric delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in curriculum development or educational consulting
- Depth of content knowledge in mathematics or science, with familiarity in the other
- Experience with state education agencies or large-scale instructional materials review initiatives preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
