Mathematics Assessment Editor

Job Summary

Seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Assessment Editor (Mathematics) for a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will manage the creation, review, and revision of test items and assessments aligned with state mathematics standards for multiple grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with assessment designers, writers, and copy editors to create and revise test items based on state mathematics standards
• Review assessments across various grade levels and content areas in Mathematics
• Align mathematics items to state standards for multiple states

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in secondary mathematics or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience developing student assessment content products, including item banks and standardized assessments
• Mastery level understanding of mathematics curriculum expectations and state learning standards, preferably in Secondary Mathematics
• Experience with assessment management systems for authoring and editing test items
• Ability to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in all work
