Maximo Functional Analyst

Job Summary

Serving as the primary Maximo Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), the full-time remote Business Systems Analyst 3 will evaluate customer workflows, translate operational needs into functional requirements, and provide expert recommendations for the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management system.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the Maximo Systems Architect, translating complex operational needs into clear functional requirements
• Evaluate customer workflows and provide expert recommendations on functional implementation strategies and continuous improvement opportunities within the Maximo environment
• Assist in onboarding and conduct functional Level of Effort (LOE) evaluations for new customer onboarding and application enhancements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience supporting Government programs, preferably with Department of Defense or Navy customers
• Strong background in evaluating user needs and mapping functional workflows within IBM Maximo or similar systems
• Proficiency with enterprise ticketing systems and functional design documentation
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
