MCAD/PLM Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an MCAD & PLM Engineer to join their hardware team in a hybrid role based in San Diego or San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for MCAD support across Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design
• Own the full lifecycle of CAD and PLM tools, leading cross-functional tool initiatives
• Partner with IT to manage CAD and PLM infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and security

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with MCAD and PLM tools in a consumer electronics or high-volume hardware environment
• Deep knowledge of CAD/PLM tools such as NX, SolidWorks, and Teamcenter
• Proven experience supporting and training Mechanical and Industrial Design teams
• Strong understanding of configuration management and digital workflows
• Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, IT, and product development
