MD Licensed Medical Reviewer
Job Summary
Seeking an MD Licensed Medical Reviewer for a contract position in Drug Safety, where the candidate will perform medical reviews of ICSR reports from clinical trials and post-marketing sources while working in a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform medical review of ICSRs, assessing seriousness, expectedness, causality, and clinical significance
- Review safety cases for accuracy, completeness, and clinical coherence
- Identify and escalate potential safety concerns and support medical coding reviews
Required qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Approximately 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, specifically with ICSR medical review
- Working knowledge of MedDRA and medical coding principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with external vendors
