MD Licensed Study Physician

Job Summary

To provide medical oversight and expertise for clinical trials, the full-time MD Licensed Study Physician will manage study design, monitor safety activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the conduct of clinical studies, ensuring adherence to protocols and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Manage project-level operational aspects, including timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
• Review and approve study documentation and vendor deliverables, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• MD (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical monitoring of clinical trials
• Experience in designing clinical trial plans and writing summary reports independently
• Knowledge of federal regulations affecting clinical trials and medical research
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines
• Proficient in clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking methods
