MDS Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MDS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic advisory and technical authority in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex coding and assessment inquiries from State RAI Coordinators and providers
• Manage responses to questions through official help desks and training sessions using the Q&A database
• Lead the development and quality review of training materials for MDS 3.0 providers and State RAI Coordinators

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of clinical, educational, and regulatory experience
• Thorough understanding of the RAI process and experience with MDS or other post-acute care assessment instruments
• Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly desired
• Experience working with healthcare documents preferred
