Job Summary

Utilizing a strong mechanical background, the full-time Mechanical Claims Adjuster will work remotely to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate vehicle repair claims while ensuring accurate coverage determinations and fostering positive relationships with clients and repair facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjudicate and authorize claims, ensuring accuracy of coverage information and providing clarity to customers
  • Handle an average of 50-70 inbound calls daily from repair centers and customers, addressing inquiries and providing information on coverage
  • Review claims based on diagnostic information from repair facilities and manage workflow in accordance with established processes
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience at a dealership or independent auto repair shop
  • Familiarity with automotive repair procedures, processes, parts, and costs
  • Proven success in negotiation and problem-solving
  • Experience with ProDemand, Alldata, and Carfax is a plus
