Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Mechanical Claims Adjuster will validate, adjudicate, and approve payments for diagnostics and repair recommendations for vehicles under warranty while managing interactions with repair facilities and ensuring proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Properly adjudicates claims within approval limits and according to department and industry standards
• Accurately documents all actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems
• Manages a list of assigned pending claims and provides timely follow-up with repair facilities

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in automotive mechanical and diagnostics
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, and pricing
• Proficient in typing and general computer skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, collaborative environment
