Job Summary
Reviewing and red-lining engineering drawings, the part-time Mechanical Design Checker will ensure accuracy and manufacturability of designs while working remotely or in Novi, MI on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Provide detailed correction markups on engineering drawings
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing specifications and industry standards
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with 2D AutoCAD
- Proven proficiency in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Comprehensive knowledge of national and international drafting standards
- Experience in industrial machine design and automation systems
