Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer I to design and develop products for the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance telecommunications products using SolidWorks
• Drive cost reduction in high-volume product designs and prepare project schedules
• Participate in new product development from conception through production and conduct product design reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• One (1) or more years of design experience
• Experience with CAD programs; SolidWorks experience is a plus
• Prior experience in injection molding and metal stamping is a plus
• Well-developed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
