Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer - Composites to join their Aerospace Ground Test Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design process improvements for ground test equipment and tooling
• Collaborate with Design and Technical Writing teams to streamline data access and documentation workflows
• Develop and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications using various design tools

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship Required due to access to export-controlled information
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in Aerospace or Defense
• Proficiency in NX, AutoCAD, and engineering documentation tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
