Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components from requirements through final design
• Coordinate inputs from engineering and project teams to produce design solutions
• Perform scoping analysis and calculations for design options

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two years of equipment/component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
• Exposure to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Experience in finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis methods
• Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks preferred
