Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to design durable components meeting specific requirements
• Develop and build custom test fixtures for component and system validation testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs and resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree (MSME) with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year of experience
• Experience in electromechanical system design and familiarity with mechanisms and sensors
• Practical fabrication experience and a portfolio of projects
• Proficient in mechanical CAD software, preferably PTC Creo
• Experience supporting test design, implementation, and reporting
