Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for Mechanical Design Engineers - Avionic Enclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics enclosure hardware for lunar spacecraft systems
• Create 3D CAD models, part drawings, and installation documentation using drafting best practices
• Collaborate with structural and thermal analysts to meet system-level constraints and improve design standards

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• 4+ years of related experience in mechanical design
• Strong proficiency with Creo for 3D modeling and drafting
• Experience designing components for electronics or highly constrained environments
• US citizenship or possession of a Green Card due to sensitive US government technology work
