Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a remote Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete various design tasks supporting the development of clean fusion energy technologies
• Take ownership of design tasks from start to finish and interface with internal customers and stakeholders
• Implement process and productivity improvements for existing hardware and communicate progress regularly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of design experience in a mechanical-based industry such as aerospace, oil/gas, or nuclear
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD modeling and drafting
• Excellent mechanical aptitude skills
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. as a U.S. citizen
