Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting global gas turbine engineering teams, the full-time Mechanical Design Engineer IV will perform advanced structural analysis, conduct life assessments, and execute dynamic analyses while working remotely in the U.S. with an EST schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analysis using finite element modeling (FEM)
• Conduct life assessments including fatigue, creep, and fracture mechanics
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and present engineering findings to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in engineering design with FEA (Ansys)
• 4+ years of experience with NX (CAD)
• Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, and PLM/Teamcenter
• Ability to work with export-controlled material (U.S. Citizen required)
