Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Aeroderivative Mechanical Design Engineer will design and qualify high-performance mechanical components and systems for aeroderivative gas turbines, ensuring optimal thermal efficiency and structural integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and 3D model mechanical components for aeroderivative turbines, including compressors and cooling systems
• Perform structural and thermal analyses to validate design robustness and reliability
• Collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams to support product industrialization and ensure compliance with international standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Energy Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of turbomachinery or high-temperature/high-pressure components
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Fluent)
• Knowledge of high-performance materials such as superalloys and ceramics
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
