Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Aeroderivative Mechanical Design Engineer will design and qualify high-performance mechanical components and systems for aeroderivative gas turbines, ensuring optimal thermal efficiency and structural integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and 3D model mechanical components for aeroderivative turbines, including compressors and cooling systems
- Perform structural and thermal analyses to validate design robustness and reliability
- Collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams to support product industrialization and ensure compliance with international standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Energy Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of turbomachinery or high-temperature/high-pressure components
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Fluent)
- Knowledge of high-performance materials such as superalloys and ceramics
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
