Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative product development, the full-time Mechanical Design Engineer will design specialized equipment and systems, produce detailed design documentation, and manage engineering change processes while working in a hybrid environment based in Houston, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Designing equipment and systems according to customer specifications and collaborating with external vendors
• Producing detailed layouts and specifications for new products and modifications of existing designs
• Managing the engineering change process and maintaining comprehensive engineering documentation

Required qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with rotating equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, with knowledge of SolidWorks preferred
• Intermediate-level knowledge of mechanical design principles and pressure systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective collaboration
