Job Summary

To support engineering efforts in a collaborative environment, the full-time Mechanical Designer will focus on the mechanical design and innovation of components and new products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and industry standards while working in a hybrid arrangement based in Houston, Texas.

Key responsibilities
  • Design specialized equipment and systems, producing detailed layouts and design documentation for new and existing products
  • Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and manage the engineering change process to maintain product integrity
  • Utilize advanced CAD tools to create mechanical components, providing ongoing technical support to manufacturing and quality control teams
Required qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with rotating equipment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; experience with SolidWorks is a plus
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of mechanical design principles and pressure systems
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment
