Mechanical Designer III

Job Summary

To support a dynamic mechanical design team, the remote Mechanical Designer III will manage the design and documentation of mechanical and plumbing systems for various high-profile projects, including data centers and industrial buildings, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the design and documentation of mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit
• Develop detailed HVAC and plumbing system layouts, including ductwork and equipment placement
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in MEP mechanical design
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Proficiency in HVAC design software, including AutoCAD and Revit
• Familiarity with HVAC codes, standards, and best practices
• Experience with engineering calculations for load analysis and system performance optimization
