Mechanical Drafter

Job Summary

Assisting the Lead Plant Designer, the part-time Mechanical Drafter will maintain Mechanical drawings in AutoCAD for natural gas facilities, manage multiple projects, and provide updates on progress while working independently or as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Completes multiple Mechanical redline requests related to meter and compressor stations
• Manages drawings within the document management system and conducts QA/QC reviews
• Provides weekly updates to the Lead Designer on project progress

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in 3D Piping and experience with Plant, Process Piping P&IDs
• Experience with CADWorx Plant Professional modeling software
• Knowledge of P&ID symbols and terminology
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Previous experience in the natural gas transmission industry is preferred
