Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Provide mechanical design support for improving fiber optic cable manufacturing equipment
Design tooling and mechanical assemblies using Inventor or AutoCAD
Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to resolve integration issues and update documentation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in mechanical system design
Experience in mechanical system design and integration is essential
Proficiency in any CAD software; AutoCAD and Inventor preferred
Experience with motion control, PLC, and temperature control systems is a plus
