Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Global Engineering team in Wyandotte, MI.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive improvements at sites by delivering effective mechanical engineering designs for both engineering support and capital projects
• Partner with local and regional project teams to provide input on capital project scope and equipment
• Support process and system design needs to deliver efficient designs that meet project objectives and plant technology requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (preferably Mechanical)
• 5-7+ years of experience in mechanical design and equipment expertise within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with static equipment, such as tanks, piping, insulation, etc
• Prior experience in supporting designs for capital projects
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds
