Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting design lifecycles and production processes, the remote Mechanical Engineer will engage in conceptual and detailed part design, create engineering drawings, and provide support during prototype builds on a contract basis for a defense-aerospace client.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct conceptual and detailed part and assembly design
• Create engineering drawings and technical data packages
• Provide engineering support during fabrication and production hardware builds

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in mechanical design or engineering
• Advanced proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and expert-level use of CREO Parametric software
• Proficient with EPDM Windchill for data management and version control
• Comprehensive understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
