Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting customer-specific design work, the full-time Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Mechanical Engineer will create 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings while collaborating with sales and production teams in a hybrid work environment based in Lahti, Finland, Darmstadt, Germany, or Johannesburg, South Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the PLM system (Teamcenter)
- Provide technical support for engineering projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or a related field
- Experience in the crushing and screening industry is advantageous
- Proficient in 3D CAD design software; experience with Siemens NX is a plus
- Experience designing large welded structures and/or vibrating equipment is beneficial
