Mechanical Engineer, ECU Design

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, ECU Enclosure Design & Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enclosures and mechanical components for ECUs and related electronics, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
• Support mechanical reliability tests and analyze performance data to identify and resolve design issues
• Act as a subject matter expert for mechanical design best practices and generate necessary technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in product development focused on mechanical design for electronics, preferably in automotive
• Proven experience designing and manufacturing mechanical enclosures for electronics
• Expertise in CAD software, with CATIA preferred, and strong understanding of GD&T
• Hands-on experience with mechanical stress and life testing, and familiarity with automotive quality standards
