Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Industrial Facilities 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee mechanical systems for various industrial facilities, including biogas and wastewater treatment
• Perform design calculations and specifications for equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Coordinate mechanical design efforts within multi-disciplinary teams and manage third-party engineering oversight

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred or willing to obtain
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in industrial facilities
• Experience leading engineering and design teams for EPC projects is preferred for senior positions
• Preferred experience with hydraulic simulation software such as AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow
