Job Summary

To evaluate standard engineering change workflows, a contract Mechanical Engineer for Workflow Study will participate remotely in a paid study, focusing on the management and updating of complex CAD models within automotive and aerospace environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver realistic CAD models using SolidWorks, FreeCAD, or similar tools
• Walk through standard engineering change workflows and document the steps for design modifications
• Provide feedback on challenges related to version control and documentation processes

Required qualifications

• Professional mechanical engineering experience
• Background in automotive or aerospace design environments
• Hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks or FreeCAD
• Familiarity with standard engineering change order processes
