Mechanical Engineer PE

Job Summary

To support large-scale data center projects, the remote Mechanical Engineer PE will design and oversee mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with performance, cost, and code requirements while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical and piping systems for hyperscale data center projects
• Review and guide work from external engineering consultants
• Ensure designs meet mechanical and plumbing codes, standards, and utility requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 4-7 years of experience designing mechanical systems for large-scale facilities
• Experience with cooling systems and mechanical infrastructure in data centers
• Working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes and standards
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
