Job Summary

A company is looking for a Failure Analysis, Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct joint laboratory examinations with outside parties and participate in technical assessments
• Analyze scientific literature and technical reports related to materials and mechanical engineering
• Perform hands-on laboratory work, including operating and maintaining laboratory equipment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in failure analysis and root cause determination
• BSc and MS in materials science, metallurgical engineering, polymer science, mechanical engineering, or related fields
• Experience in testifying is desirable
• Ability to travel on short notice for site inspections and sample collection
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate occasional weekend and evening hours
