Job Summary

A company is looking for a Failure Analysis, Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct joint laboratory examinations and assist with technical analyses
• Perform hands-on laboratory work including sample preparation and equipment operation
• Analyze scientific literature and technical reports related to materials and mechanical systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in failure analysis and root cause determination
• BSc and MS in materials science, metallurgical engineering, polymer science, mechanical engineering, or related fields
• Experience in testifying and working on interdisciplinary teams is desirable
• Ability to travel on short notice for site inspections and client interactions
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate occasional weekend and evening hours
