Job Summary
Managing project execution, the full-time Mechanical Engineering Consultant will coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in the design and analysis of nuclear power plant modifications while ensuring safety, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage and mentor project teams, fostering accountability and positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and control construction risks while tracking changes and reporting key performance indicators
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
- 10+ years of experience in a technical field, with at least 5 years in a client liaison role
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
- Experience in schedule and budget management
