Mechanical Engineering Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert, the full-time position will focus on reviewing, annotating, and evaluating CAD models and CFD datasets to ensure the accuracy and quality of datasets used for AI training in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical diagrams
• Evaluate mechanical engineering and CFD datasets for technical accuracy and consistency
• Perform quality control (QC) on expert annotations and identify engineering errors

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo, Fusion 360, or similar)
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Hands-on meshing experience with Gmsh or snappyHexMesh
• Hands-on CFD simulation experience with OpenFOAM or SU2
